  1. Due to the limited number of seats available, all course fees must be received by Basic Firearms Training at the time the student registers for the course.

  2. Due to the limited number of seats available, and the costs associated with hosting a course, all sales are final.

    1. Students who provide a written course cancellation via e-mail to registration@BasicFirearmsTraining.net at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the scheduled course will, at student discretion;

      1. Receive a 50% refund. The refund method is at the discretion of Basic Firearms Training.

      2. Apply the full course fee towards the same or equivalent course.

        1. The same or equivalent course must be completed within 3 months from the start of the originally scheduled course. 

        2. If the same or equivalent course is not completed by the student within 3 months of the originally scheduled course, no refund will be given.

        3. If the same or equivalent course is not offered by Basic Firearms Training within 3 months of the originally scheduled course, the student will receive a 50% refund. The refund method is at the discretion of Basic Firearms Training.

  3. Students who do not cancel their course at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the scheduled course and cannot attend the scheduled course will be able to reschedule (1 time only) and attend the same or equivalent course. The course must be completed within 3 months of the originally scheduled date.

    1. If the student does not complete the same or equivalent course within 3 months, the student will not receive a refund.

    2. If the same or equivalent course is not offered within 3 months from the originally scheduled date, the student will not receive a refund.

    3. Students may apply the cost of the originally scheduled course towards another course offered by Basic Firearms Training. The new course must be completed within 3 months of the originally scheduled course.

      1. The student is responsible for additional fees for the new course.

      2. If the alternative course has a lower fee than the original course, the difference will not be refunded to the student.

      3. All refunds and credits are forfeited after 3 months from the original course date.

  4. Students who are unable to pass the course or, if applicable, the course qualification during the originally scheduled time frame will be allowed a second attempt at the same or equivalent course within 3 months of the originally scheduled course, if such course is offered and there is an open seat available.

    1. If the original course or an equivalent course is not offered within 3 months from the originally scheduled date, the student will not receive a refund.

    2. If the student attends the same course or its equivalent within 3 months of the originally scheduled course, but fails to attend, complete, or pass the course, no refund will be given and the student cannot attend a future course without paying the full and current price for the course.

    3. If the student attends the same course or its equivalent within 3 months of the originally scheduled course, the student will be responsible for paying all range, target, or other fees deems necessary by Basic Firearms Training.

  5. If a student reschedules the same or equivalent course for a future date, and there has been a fee increase for the course, the original course fee will be honored by Basic Firearms Training. If there is a fee reduction for the original course, a refund or credit will not be issued by Basic Firearms Training.

  6. If a student registers for a California CCW course and the issuing agency permanently ceases the issuance of CCW permits before the scheduled course start date, the student will receive a full refund, minus a $20.00 processing fee. The refund method is at the discretion of Basic Firearms Training.

  7. If the student registers for a California CCW course and subsequently changes their residency, prior to the start of the course, to a jurisdiction that Basic Firearms Training does not offer a CCW course for, the student will not receive a refund.

    1. If the student provides written notification, via e-mail to registration@BasicFirearmsTraining.net, at least 14 calendar days before the start of the scheduled course, the student may apply the cost of the course to an alternative course offered by Basic Firearms Training.

    2. The alternative course must be completed within 3 months of the originally scheduled course.

    3. If the student fails to attend, complete, or pass the alternate course, no refund will be given.

    4. If we offer a CCW course for the student’s new jurisdiction, the student is responsible for any difference in the course price. If the new CCW course is less than the originally scheduled course, Basic Firearms Training will refund the difference, minus a $20.00 processing fee.

  8. If Basic Firearms Training cancels or reschedules a course and the student cannot attend the course on the newly scheduled date(s), the student will have the option of either:

    1. Applying the course fee towards another course offered by Basic Firearms Training, including the same or equivalent course.

    2. Receiving a full refund of the course fee. The refund method is at the discretion of Basic Firearms Training.

  9. All promotional offers on courses must be applied at the time of course registration.

    1. Only 1 promotional offer / discount may be used per course, excluding the military discount.

  10. Instructors may disqualify any student at any time during the course for safety violations. Students who cannot safely handle, manipulate, or operate their firearm will be disqualified and asked to leave the classroom or range.

    1. Students who are disqualified for safety violations will not receive a refund.

    2. Students who are disqualified for safety violations may, at Basic Firearms Training instructor discretion, be prohibited from attending future firearms training courses.

    3. Students who are disqualified for safety violations may, at Basic Firearms Training instructor discretion, be required to complete a basic firearms safety course prior to attending any other firearms courses, including CCW courses.

  11. Instructors may eject disruptive or disrespectful students from the course at any time.

    1. Instructors may make an attempt to correct the behavior prior to dismissal; however, Basic Firearms Training instructors reserve the right to dismiss any student without corrective action. Determination is the sole discretion of the course instructor.

    2. Students who are dismissed for disruptive behavior will not receive a refund or credit towards another class.

  12. Students are responsible for knowing all CCW requirements of the state and the students’ issuing agency.

  13. Basic Firearms Training reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions with or without notice at any time and for any reason.

  14. Basic Firearms Training reserves the right to evaluate these terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis and make any exceptions that Basic Firearms Training deems reasonable and/or necessary
